This version of Ceramide complex is a natural ceramide extracted from wheat, ceramides can be gotten from the animal, plant, or synthetic sources.  It is an ideal ingredient for personal care products with unique restoring capabilities.
Ceramides occur naturally within the body, it helps to seal in moisture and repair the skin barrier in dry, damaged, or compromised skin. In skincare products, it helps replace lipids that have been lost due to chronic dryness, environmental factors, aging, harsh products, etc.
